India were able to snatch a tie right on the last ball of the last over of the match against Pakistan in the ICC Twenty20 World Cup encounter at Durban on Friday. The score was tied at 141 with Pakistan 7 wickets down. However, India won the match by scoring 3-0 points over Pakistan in the bowl out.
With this win, India secured 2 crucial points and topped the Group D. No Pakistani bowlers could hit the stumps in the bowl out. All the three Indian bolwers - Virender Sehwag, Harbhajan Singh and Robin Uthappa - hit their stumps.
Earlier, India managed to score a modest 141 for 9 runs against Pakistan. Recovering from initial jolts from Asif, Uthappa stroked a decent fifty in rainy conditions definitely not ideal for batting.
Robin Uthappa lead Indian fight back after Asif caught India off guard. Uthappa completed a well compiled fifty and then nicked one to wicket keeper Kamran Akmal.
