ICC World 20-20, PAK vs BAN, Super 8: Pakistan beat Bangladesh by 4 wickets

Pakistan Cricket team Bangladesh Cricket team Pakistan huffed and puffed their way to a four wicket victory over Bangladesh to maintain an all win record in the Super Eights phase of World Twenty20 at Cape Town today.
Set 141 for a win, Pakistan reached the target with 1 over to spare as Shahid Afridi, who was sent atop, smashed 39 off 21 balls while Mohammad Hafeez (23) and Salman Butt (21) were the other contributors. For Bangladesh, Abdur Razzak was the most successful bowler with 2-16 from his four overs.
Earlier,Bangladesh wasted a good start to be all out for 140 in 19.4 overs. Newcomer Zunaed Siddique provided the early thrust to the innings with a blistering 49-ball 71, but apart from his effort, there was nothing to write home about for the Tigers.
Only single digit scores followed from the rest except for Aftab (15) and Chowdhury (12). The innings was flourishing at 80-1 around the 10th over, but once Siddique fell the rest simply caved in with skipper Mohammad Ashraful making just 5.
Pakistan produced a disciplined bowling spell in the final 10 overs with Umar Gul (1-17)and Mohammad Asif (1-26) putting the break on the Pakistani innings. Hafeez and Malik picked two wickets each.
