Pakistan pull off unlikely victory against SA in Colombo

Pakistan beat South Africa by two wickets in a Super Eight stage match of the World Twenty20. Umar Gul cracked a stunning 17-ball 32 and Umar Akmal remained unbeaten on 43 t at the R. Premadasa Stadium on Friday after their top order suffered a batting collapse, chasing a modest target off 134 to win. Pakistan were 31 for three from five overs, after Hafeez and Imran Nazir provided them a brisk start. New Zealand were on top with Pakistan reeling at 76/7 in 14.3 overs before Gul executed a brilliant turnaround with his big hits.
