Ajantha Mendis finished with a magical figure of 4-2-6-8, best by any bolwer in T20 international, as Sri Lanka thrashed Zimbabwe by 82 runs in the opening match of World Twenty20 2012. Earlier, blistering knocks form Jeevan Mendis and Kumar Sangakkara helped Sri Lanka post 183, after being sent in to bat first at the Mahinda Rajapaksa Stadium in Hambantota. Their fourth-wicket partnership of 94 allowed Sri Lanka to add 96 runs in the last eight overs.
