Indian Cricket team Pakistan Cricket team Chasing an easy target of 129, Virat Kohli hit an unbeaten 78 off 61 balls to propel India to an 8-wicket victory over Pakistan with 3 overs to spare. After losing Gambhir for a duck, Virender Sehwag and Virat Kohli controlled the innings by playing sensibly. Sehwag hit a sedate 29 before falling at 75/2 in the 11th over. Yuvraj Singh remained unbeaten on 19.Earlier, electing to bat, Pakistan were all out for 128 thanks in part to Indian spinners Ravichandran Ashwin and Yuvraj Singh who returned similar figures of 2-16. Seamer Lakshmipathy Balaji chipped in with three wickets. Australia look virtually certain to reach the last four and the other three teams - including South Africa - all still have a chance of progressing.
