New Zealand advanced to the Super Eights of the World Twenty20 by beating Zimbabwe by 7 runs under the Duckworth-Lewis method.
Scott Styris and Nathan McCullum took three wickets each for New Zealand as they bundled out Zimbabwe for just 84 in 15.1 overs. Chasing 85 for a win, New Zealand made 36 for one from 8.1 overs before rain interrupted play.
